Freya Mavor, born on August 13th, 1993 in Scotland, is a Scottish model and actress known for her role as Mini McGuiness in the television series Skins. She was set to star in Netflix’s Gore Vidal biopic titled Gore before the controversy involving Kevin Spacey.
Prior to her acting career, Mavor performed in a high school production of The Tempest. Coming from a family with a background in playwriting and theatre, she was inspired by The Shining at an early age.
Mavor has two brothers named Alex and Hugo. Her great-grandfather James Bridie was a notable playwright and screenwriter, while her father James also pursued playwriting.
