About Fred Cheng
Fred Cheng is a Cantopop singer and actor, born on November 10, 1983, in Vancouver, Canada. In 2013, he emerged as the winner of the singing competition The Voice of the Stars and subsequently released his debut single “Nobody.”
Cheng has also established himself as an actor with appearances in popular Hong Kong series such as Forensic Heroes, Shine on You, and The Charm Beneath.
Prior to his entertainment career, Cheng was a martial artist who began practicing Choy Li Fut at the age of six. He completed his education at Eric Hamber Secondary School in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
In 2014, he earned recognition by winning the Hong Kong TVB8 Award for Best Newcomer. Cheng comes from a family of three siblings and has been romantically linked to singer Stephanie Ho.
