About Fran Jeffries
Fran Jeffries was a California-born pop singer and actress, born on May 18, 1937. She became known for her singles such as “Sex and the Single Girl” and her appearances in films like 1963’s The Pink Panther.
Before gaining fame, Jeffries had her first professional film role in 1958’s The Buccaneer. Apart from her music and acting career, she also posed for Playboy magazine twice – first at age 33 and then again at age 45.
Additionally, she was married to actor and director Richard Quine from 1965 to 1969.
