About Folake Coker
Folake Coker (born February 28, 1974) is a Nigerian fashion designer best known for her iconic label, Tiffany Amber. She also created the lines TAN by Tiffany Amber and Folake Folarin. In 2009, she was awarded Designer of the Year at African Fashion Week.
Before pursuing a career in fashion, Coker obtained a postgraduate degree in petroleum law in the UK before returning to Nigeria in 1998.
Coker made history as the first African-based designer to showcase her collection twice during New York Fashion Week. She was previously married to Folorunsho Coker.
