Floor Jansen is a Dutch metal singer born on February 21, 1981, in Goirle, Netherlands. She is known for being the frontwoman and vocalist of the Dutch symphonic metal band After Forever. In 2013, she joined Nightwish after their lead singer departed.
Prior to her success in music, Jansen studied at the Rockacademie in Tilburg and spent two years at the National Conservatory.
At the age of 16, Jansen started with After Forever until its disbandment in 2009. Following this, she formed ReVamp and remained with them until 2016.
