Flavia Monteiro (born July 14, 1972) is a Brazilian actress and singer, best known for her role as Carolina in the Telefe and SBT telenovela Chiquititas from 1997 to 2001. She was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Monteiro began her acting career at the age of 14 with her screen debut in the film A Menina do Lado in 1986. Despite being a working actress since then, she pursued higher education and enrolled in university to further develop her craft. In 2009, she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in film from University Gama Filho.
She is the daughter of Edson and Maria Regina Soares Monteiro and has an older brother named Andrew. Monteiro is married to Avner Saragossy, and together they have one daughter named Sophia Saragossy, who was born on July 2, 2015.
