Flavia Lyra is a Brazilian samba dancer and fire fighting lieutenant, born on March 29, 1989. In 2017, she was crowned the Queen of Imperatriz Leopoldinense School of Samba. Prior to her fame in the samba world, she had established herself as an Instagram star with over 110,000 followers.
Before pursuing a career in the entertainment industry, Flavia was a bodybuilder and joined the fire department in 2010. Her dedication to both professions has garnered admiration from her fans and colleagues.
An interesting fact about Flavia is that when she was crowned queen in 2017, she honored the school’s theme “A Real Night at The National Museum” by dressing up in an exotic feline costume. Additionally, on November 26th, 2017 she married Captain Fernando Ferreiro at the Golden Palace in Rio de Janeiro; they both serve on the same force.
