Fernanda Motta is a Brazilian model born on May 29, 1981, in Rio de Janeiro. She gained fame for her role as the host of Brazil’s Next Top Model and has appeared on the covers of popular fashion magazines such as Elle, Glamour, Sports Illustrated, Cosmopolitan, and Vogue.
Her career began at sixteen when she was discovered by a modeling agent while vacationing near Rio de Janeiro. This led to contracts with Chic Management in Australia and Elite Model Management in New York.
Besides her work in modeling, Motta also appeared as an actor in the 2005 feature film Yes, Dear. In her personal life, she grew up as the youngest of seven children in Brazil and later married Roger Rodrigues.
