Fernanda Brandao, born on May 3, 1983 in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, is a well-known pop singer. She gained prominence as a member of the Latin pop group Hot Banditoz under the stage name Laava. Additionally, she served as a judge on the 8th season of Deutschland sucht den Superstar, a popular German talent show.
Before her rise to fame, Brandao showcased her talents at an early age by singing samba folklore hits and participating in dance performances at the Rio Carnival when she was merely 4 years old. Later on, she honed her dancing skills through lessons in jazz, modern dance, hip-hop, and ballet while in Germany.
