About Fernanda Abreu
Fernanda Abreu is a Brazilian World Music Singer, born on September 8, 1961, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She became a pioneering Brazilian dance music artist in the 90s with club hits like “Voce Pra Mim,” “Rio 40 Graus” and “Katia Flavia, a Godiva Do Iraja.” Prior to her solo career, she was a member of the popular rock band BLITZ.
Before her fame as a singer, Fernanda began dancing at age 9 and trained as a ballet dancer for several years. In addition to her music career, she has served as a mentor on the talent shows Popstars and X Factor Brazil.
In her personal life, Fernanda is married to director Luiz Stein and has children named Alice and Sofia.
