Fergie, born Stacy Ann Ferguson on March 27, 1975 in Hacienda Heights, California, is a pop singer best known as the lead vocalist of the Black Eyed Peas. The group achieved fame with hit singles such as “Where is the Love?” and she went on to release her solo debut album, The Dutchess, in 2006.
Before achieving her musical success, Fergie lent her voice to Sally in two Peanuts cartoons and also showcased her talents outside of music by winning spelling bees and participating in Girl Scouts.
In addition to her music career, Fergie took an active role within the Black Eyed Peas for their highly successful album The E.N.D. (2009), which featured chart-toppers like “Boom Boom Pow.”
Fergie married Josh Duhamel on January 10, 2009 and had a son named Axl with him in August 2013. In September 2017 they announced their separation after eight years of marriage.
