About Federica Quijano Tapia
Federica Quijano Tapia (born August 16, 1974) is a Mexican pop singer and actress. She is best known as a founding member of the Mexican band Kabah, which released over six successful albums during their decade-long career, including the widely acclaimed 1996 release La Calle de las Sirenas. The group reunited in 2015 for the OV7 Kabah Tour. Federica also founded La Gotera Producciones and co-hosted the television series KIU.
Before rising to fame with Kabah, she and her brother Andre co-founded the band in 1992 and began their careers with a cover of “Encontre El Amor” for the group The Party.
In addition to her musical pursuits, Federica made her acting debut in 2007 in the film Pamela and appeared on the cover of Penthouse magazine later that same year. She has two children named Maria and Sebastian whom she adopted and was previously in a relationship with Flor Benavides.
She comes from a large family as one eldest five siblings born to Eduardo Quijano Aleman and Maria Antonieta Tapia. Her brother Andre also performed as a member of Kabah
