About Fatemeh Motamedarya
Fatemeh Motamedarya is an award-winning Iranian actress, known for her work in films such as Nabat, A Mother’s Love, and Crossroads. Born on October 29, 1961, in Tehran, Iran, she began acting in local theatre during her teens before pursuing a degree in the discipline from Tehran Art Institute. In 1989, she made her film debut in Reyhaneh.
Over the past two decades, Motamedarya has garnered acclaim at the Fajr Film Festival and has become a regular face on the silver screen. In addition to her acting career, she served as an ambassador for the charity organization Mehrafarin Charity Society in 2008.
Motamedarya married producer and screenwriter Ahmad-Ali Hamed with whom she shares one son named Nariman.
