About Ewa Januszkiewicz
Ewa Januszkiewicz is a Polish-American weightlifter, born on July 19, 1991 in Poland. She competes in the USA Powerlifting 63kg Raw Division and achieved third place in the 63kg class at Nationals in 2015.
Before pursuing her career as a professional weightlifter, Ewa earned a bachelor’s degree in neuroscience from Smiths College. During her time there, she played soccer but had to transition to powerlifting as part of her rehabilitation after sustaining two ACL tears and injuring her back.
In 2017, she took on the role of clinical research coordinator at the Associated Neurologists of Southern Connecticut. Ewa also has an older brother named Jess.
