Eva Simons, born on April 27, 1985 in Zaanstad, Netherlands, is a Dutch pop singer. She gained recognition for her feature on will.i.am’s #1 UK single “This is Love” and has collaborated with various artists including LMFAO and Afrojack.
Prior to her solo career, she won the Dutch reality talent competition Popstars and was part of the girl band Raffish. The group achieved success with their hit song “Plaything.” In 2009, Eva’s solo track “Silly Boy” garnered attention online.
Coming from a musical family background with her father as a pianist and mother as a vocalist, Eva draws inspiration from her grandfather who was honored with a statue in Amsterdam for his musical legacy.
