Born on July 13, 1978, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Jinek gained a following of over 350,000 individuals on her evajinek Instagram account. Before achieving fame as a television personality, she pursued American History studies at the University of Leiden and later served as a foreign editor for the Dutch public network news program NOS Journaal.
