She had set national records as part of the LA Athletic Club swim team, and even competed alongside swimming icon Johnny Weissmuller! Not only did she have success in competitive swimming and movies, but she also went on to become a successful businesswoman – eventually marrying Edward Bell in 1994 after three prior marriages.
