Eser Erdogan is a Dutch-born pilot and Instagram star based in Istanbul. She was born on June 18, 1985, and began her career flying Boeing 737 jets for Pegasus Airlines in 2014.
Together with her husband Volkan, who is also a pilot, she flies around the world and shares photos of their adventures on social media. With over 150,000 followers on Instagram, Erdogan has used her platform to give exposure to female pilots in a male-dominated industry.
Prior to becoming a pilot, Erdogan studied international business and management. However, after finding herself unhappy in that career path for one year, she decided to pursue flying lessons.
Erdogan married her husband Volkan in 2015.
