About Erraid Davies
Erraid Davies is a Scottish swimmer born on February 9, 2001. She made headlines in the swimming world when she won a bronze medal in the 100 meter breaststroke event.
Davies has faced challenges due to her hip disorder known as Perthes disease, which she was diagnosed with at age four. Despite this obstacle, she developed her passion for swimming and was able to swim a mile by the time she reached six years old.
At just thirteen years old, Davies entered the record books as the youngest athlete ever to represent Scotland at the Commonwealth Games.
Beyond her athletic achievements, Erraid enjoys spending time with her family that includes two sisters named Joyce and David Davies along with their parents.
