Ernestine Shepherd (born June 16, 1936) is a professional bodybuilder and personal trainer from Baltimore, Maryland. She gained widespread recognition for setting a Guinness World Record as the oldest competitive female bodybuilder at the age of 73 and winning first place at the Natural East Coast Tournament of Champions contest.
Prior to her fitness career, Shepherd worked as a model and did not begin her workout routine until she was 56 years old. In addition to her athletic accomplishments, she authored the book “Determined, Dedicated, Disciplined To Be Fit” in 2016.
Shepherd is married to Collin and has one son. Unfortunately, her sister Velvet passed away.
