About Engy Wegdan
Engy Wegdan, born on July 7, 1983 in Cairo, Egypt is an Egyptian movie actress. She has gained recognition for her roles in popular Egyptian films such as H Dabor (2008), Samir Wa Shahir Wa Bahir (2010) and Last Rooster in Egypt (2017). Wegdan also portrayed the character Manal in the series A Girl Named Zat.
Wegdan completed her graduation from The American University in Cairo in 2004 and initially worked as an English teacher. In addition to her acting career, she served as an editor on the Oscar-nominated documentary The Square (2013).
She is married to Ahmad El-Watidi.
