Emma Coronel Aispuro is the wife of infamous Mexican drug lord Joaquin Guzman Loera, better known as El Chapo. She’s also a former beauty queen, having won the 2007 Miss Coffee and Guava pageant. Emma was just 17 when she first met El Chapo in 2006 and they soon got married. She holds dual citizenship for Mexico and America thanks to her Mexican father. Her uncle Ignacio Coronel Vilarreal even used to be one of El Chapo’s partners! In 2011, Emma gave birth to twin daughters with him. Sadly, her brother Edgar Coronel Aispuro was arrested for assisting in El Chapo’s escape from a Mexican maximum security prison while Enrique Pena Nieto was President of Mexico at the time.
