About Emily Kuroda
Emily Kuroda (born October 30, 1952) is an American actress best known for her role as Mrs. Kim on the WB series Gilmore Girls. She was born in California and has had a successful career both on stage and screen.
Prior to her acting career, she studied theater at California State University, Fresno. Kuroda has also appeared in Asian-American independent films such as Stand Up for Justice and The Sensei.
Kuroda’s stage performances have earned her Drama-Logue and Back Stage West Garland Awards for her roles in The Maids and Straight As a Line respectively. She currently resides in Los Angeles with her husband, director and fellow actor Alberto Isaac.
