Emily Dole, born on September 28, 1957 in California, is a former professional wrestler best known as ‘Mt. Fiji’ in the Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling league. Her portrayal became the inspiration behind the character Machu Picchu on Netflix’s GLOW.
Prior to her wrestling career, she attended Buena Park High School and qualified for two Olympic trials in shot putting. In a noteworthy event, she and her family were awarded $23 million in a settlement with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department after members of her family were unnecessarily beaten by police officers during a raid.
She has a sister named Melinda.
