About Elyse Hopfner-Hibbs
Elyse Hopfner-Hibbs is a Canadian gymnast who gained international recognition for her achievements in the sport. Born on September 12, 1989, in Mississauga, Canada, she began her gymnastics career in 1993 and went on to compete at the highest levels.
She represented Canada at the 2008 Beijing Olympics and made history as the first Canadian female gymnast to reach the podium at the 2006 world gymnastics championships by winning a bronze medal on the balance beam.
Prior to her Olympic success, Elyse competed in her first international event in 2001. Her talent and dedication led to a scholarship for gymnastics at UCLA in 2008, where she was named Freshman of the Year in the Pac-10 Conference during her time there.
In 2015, she married Grayson Null and together they have a YouTube channel called Meet The Nulls. Their family grew with the birth of their first child in November 2016.
