Elsie Larson was born on November 19, 1983, in Springfield, Missouri. She is a well-known blogger and co-owner of the lifestyle company A Beautiful Mess with her sister Emma Chapman.

The sisters have created bestselling photo apps and released several books under the A Beautiful Mess umbrella.

In 2007, Elsie started A Beautiful Mess as a blog before gaining traction when her sister joined her in 2010.

Besides A Beautiful Mess, she also shares the blog The Larson House with her husband to document their life and marriage through photography.

Her husband Jeremy Larson is a musician known for the collaborative EP series Violents.
