She rose to prominence for her portrayal of Anne Frank in the BBC’s The Diary of Anne Frank and as Meera Reed in HBO’s Game of Thrones.Prior to her acting career, she was involved with the National Youth Theatre and studied English Literature at the University of Cambridge.In addition to her roles in film and television, she has also worked as a writer and contributed to soundtracks. Kendrick has appeared in notable films such as An Education and Cheerful Weather for the Wedding.She hails from London, England where she grew up as an only child.
