Elli Reed, born on August 10, 1989 in Salt Lake City, Utah, is a professional soccer player known for her work as a midfielder and defender. She gained recognition through her international career and particularly for her time with the Seattle Reign FC of the National Women’s Soccer League.
Prior to entering professional soccer, Reed attended the University of Portland where she played for the Pilots women’s soccer team. After graduating in 2010, she was drafted 8th overall in the Women’s Professional Soccer draft by the Western New York Flash. Notably, she was traded to the Boston Breakers club on draft day from the Western New York Flash.
Reed has also played for Kristianstads DFF in 2013 and Melbourne Victory in 2014 throughout her career. She hails from Salt Lake City, Utah.
