Ellen Thomas (born February 3, 1964) is a British TV actress known for her roles in various popular series. She gained fame for her portrayal of secretary Liz Webb on the U.K. Channel 4 series Teachers and as Grace Olubunmi on the soap opera EastEnders. Her performance as Adoha Onyeka on the BBC Two series Rev. earned her a nomination at the Black International Film Festival.
Thomas began her television career in the early 1980s with appearances in The Gentle Touch, Don’t Wait Up, and Shroud for a Nightingale. In addition to acting on television, she has also been involved in radio performances, contributing to Coming of Age on BBC Three and Claire in the Community on BBC Radio Four.
