About Ellen Joyce Loo
Ellen Joyce Loo was a Chinese-Canadian folk singer born on March 27, 1986, in Canada. She became well-known as the vocalist of the electro-folk outfit at17 and was signed and represented by the music production company People Mountain People Sea.
Prior to her fame, Ellen’s father began teaching her classical guitar at the young age of 9. She also participated in the musical competition Original Music 2000.
In 2016, she married cinematographer Fisher Yu. Tragically, she passed away after falling from her building in Happy Valley, Hong Kong.
