One of her notable works includes the Bas-relief of a Goaltender at Ryerson University in Toronto.Prior to gaining recognition as a sculptor, she pursued formal artistic education at the Ontario College of Art and the Art Students League of New York.One of her most significant pieces is the Welland-Crowland War Memorial located in Chippawa Park, Welland, Ontario.Wood’s upbringing took place under the care of her parents in Ontario, Canada.
