About Elisabeth Frink
Elisabeth Frink was an English sculptor and printmaker best known for her exploration of the nature of Man, horses, and the divine in human form. She was born on November 14, 1930, in England.
Before gaining fame as a renowned artist, she studied at the Guildford School of Art under Willi Soukop and later continued her education at the Chelsea School of Art.
In recognition of her accomplishments, Elisabeth Frink was honored as one of five ‘Women of Achievement’ to be featured on a set of British stamps. Tragically, both she and her husband passed away only months apart from one another.
