Eleanor Pendleton, born on December 7, 1988 in Australia, is a digital entrepreneur and blogger. She is best known as the founder and editor of Gritty Pretty, Australia’s first online beauty magazine.
Pendleton has cultivated partnerships with prestigious brands such as Chanel, Balmain, Maybelline New York, L’Oreal Paris, Revlon, Kiehl’s and Clinique.
Before gaining recognition for her work with Gritty Pretty she worked as a beauty editor at both Cosmopolitan magazine and Famous where she became the youngest person to hold that position at Famous at just 20 years old. In acknowledgment of her journalistic excellence in beauty writing, Pendleton was honored with the 2013 Jasmine Award.
Her aspirations to become a writer were inspired by her father who owned a newsagency. In September 2016 Eleanor got engaged to Mathew Wilson.
