Eilish O’Carroll, born on November 5, 1952 in Dublin, Ireland, is a well-known TV actress. She gained prominence for her portrayal of Winnie McGoogan on the UK sitcom “Mrs. Brown’s Boys.” This role has led to her involvement in various seasons of the show as well as TV films and specials associated with the sitcom.
Before pursuing acting full-time in 1997 after relocating from England back to Dublin, she worked as a full-time housewife and beer sales representative. Notably, she created and performed in her own one-woman stage show titled “Live, Laugh, Love” in 2012 which received highly positive reviews during its run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
