Edie Falco, born on July 5, 1963 in New York City, is a TV actress known for her roles as Diane in Oz and Carmela Soprano in The Sopranos. She also starred as the title character in the Showtime show Nurse Jackie.
Prior to gaining fame, she made appearances on Law & Order. In addition to her acting career, she was featured on an episode of Who Do You Think You Are? in 2012 and contributed to John Kerry’s presidential campaign in 2004.
Outside of her career, Falco adopted two children named Anderson and Macy.
