Drea De Matteo (born January 19, 1972) is a TV actress best known for her roles as Adriana La Cerva on HBO’s The Sopranos and Angie Bolen on ABC’s Desperate Housewives. She was born in Queens, New York and began her acting career with a role as Joey’s sister in the TV show Joey, followed by portraying Wendy Teller in FX’s Sons of Anarchy.
Before pursuing acting, De Matteo studied directing at New York University. She won an Emmy for Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for her portrayal of Adriana on The Sopranos. In her personal life, she dated Shooter Jennings and they had two children before separating. In July 2015, she became engaged to musician Michael Devin.
