Dorothy Williams is a reality star known for her appearance as a quarterfinalist on the 11th season of America’s Got Talent. Born on December 26, 1926, in Chicago, Illinois, Williams gained widespread attention for her burlesque dance performance on the show at the age of 90.
Williams began her dancing career at the age of 17, taking classes in tap, acrobatics, and ballet. She worked as a chorus girl and solo dancer before gaining recognition for her performances.
Aside from her entertainment career, Williams also worked in a supermarket for 25 years while continuing to perform on weekends. Her diverse talents also led her to portray the character Yummy the Clown for four decades and volunteer as Welcome Wagon Lady for twenty years.
After marrying, Dorothy Williams relocated to Hilo, Hawaii where she continues to inspire others with her remarkable journey and ongoing passion for performance.
