Dorothy Provine was an American TV actress born on January 20, 1935 in Deadwood, South Dakota. She is best known for her roles in TV’s The Roaring Twenties and the film It’s a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World.

Before pursuing acting, Provine worked in Washington handing out prizes for a local television station’s quiz show. She was recognized for her shapely legs and bombshell figure and also appeared in The Great Race.

In 1968, she married Robert Day with whom she had one child.
