Dorothy Martin (born April 11, 1986) is a Hungarian rock singer known for being the eponymous frontwoman of the band Dorothy. She was born in Budapest, Hungary and later moved to Los Angeles, California.
In June of 2016, her band released their debut studio album “ROCKISDEAD” through Roc Nation Records. Prior to this, Rolling Stone named Dorothy the #14 band on their 50 Best New Artists of 2014 list following the release of their debut self-titled EP.
In addition to their musical success, her band held a residency at The Satellite in Los Angeles where they often invited guests such as Miguel, Tom Morello and Ruby Rose to perform with them.
