Dorothy Beal (born April 11, 1982) is an American runner known for her Mile Posts running blog. Over the course of 15 years, from 2003 to 2018, she completed a total of 31 marathons and significantly improved her race time from 4:20 to an impressive 3:11. With over 70,000 followers on her mileposts Instagram account, she has established herself as a prominent figure in the running community.
Beal’s first marathon was the Marine Corps Marathon in 2003. She also has professional experience working for well-known brands such as Brooks Running and Moving Comfort. In addition to these achievements, she was featured in the Saucony Find Your Strong Ad Campaign and won the Women’s Running Magazine Cover Model Contest in 2012.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Beal found love with her husband Eric whom she met one summer; together they have three children.
