Dorinda Medley, born on December 13, 1964 in The Berkshires, Massachusetts, is a well-known reality star and entrepreneur. She rose to fame as a cast member of Bravo’s popular reality series The Real Housewives of New York City. Prior to her television career, she established her own cashmere company called DCL Cashmere and cultivated relationships with high-profile clients such as Princess Diana and Joan Collins.
After graduating from college, Medley moved to New York City where she initially worked in the showrooms at Liz Clairborne before relocating to London with her first husband. Notably, she collaborated with her second spouse Richard Medley on charitable endeavors alongside prominent figures including Bishop Desmond Tutu, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, and Hillary Clinton.
In terms of family life, Medley has a daughter named Hannah from her first marriage. Following the untimely passing of Richard Medley in 2011 after they were married for six years, Dorinda went on to form a romantic relationship with John Mahdessian who owns Madame Paulette; however the couple parted ways in 2020.
