Donna De Lory (born September 10, 1964) is a pop singer from Calabasas, California. She gained fame for her extensive duration as a backup vocalist for pop icon Madonna, with whom she worked from 1987 until their final performance together in 2007.
Prior to her career as a backup singer, De Lory made her professional debut at the age of eight in a commercial for Recipe dog food. Following this, she contributed vocals to children’s albums for Walt Disney and featured on the renowned track “It’s a Small World.”
In 1992, she branched off into a solo career with her self-titled debut album and has since released close to twelve albums. Her family has strong ties to the music industry; her father Al DeLory was Grammy-winning producer while her grandfather played upright bass and cello for Warner Bros. Studios Orchestra. Additionally, both of her older siblings are also singers.
