Dominique Dunne was born on November 23, 1959, in Santa Monica, California. She was a TV actress known for her appearances in several television movies and her role in the 1982 film Poltergeist.
Prior to gaining fame as an actress, she spent a year studying acting at Milton Katselas’ Workshop in Florence, Italy.
Tragically, Dunne’s promising career was cut short when she passed away during the filming of the miniseries V in 1982. She came from a creative family; her father Dominick Dunne was a film producer, and her aunt and uncle were novelists.
