Diane Franklin, born on February 11, 1962 in Plainview, New York, is a movie actress. She gained recognition for her role as Monique, a French foreign exchange student, in the 1985 comedy Better Off Dead.
Prior to gaining fame in the film industry,she started modeling and acting in commercials as a teenager, including campaigns for Maxwell House coffee and Trident gum.In addition to her acting career,Franklin sang the National Anthem at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles during the year of 2004.
