About Diana Bracho
Diana Bracho, born on December 12, 1944 in Mexico, is a prominent TV actress. She has won the prestigious Premios TVyNovelas award four times for her outstanding performances in Cuna de lobos, Cadenas de amargura, Capricho and Fuego en la sangre. In the later part of her career, she was cast as the main antagonist in Rafaela, Quiero amarte, El hotel de los secretos and Mi marido tiene familia.
Prior to gaining fame as a television actress, Bracho began her career as a child actress with film debuts in San Felipe (1949) and Immaculate Conception (1950), both directed by her father. She also made professional stage debut in Israfel and received two Silver Ariel awards for her work.
Bracho comes from an artistic family; she is the daughter of actor and director Julio Bracho with actress Andrea Plama as her aunt. Her nephew Juliio Bracho named after his grandfather also entered acting world. Diana has been married twice – first to university professor Felipe Bracho with whom she has a daughter named Andrea; followed by marriage to designer and painter Rafael Cortes.
