Deborah Van Valkenburgh, born on August 29, 1952 in New York, is a TV actress best known for her role as Jackie Rush on the early 1980s sitcom Too Close for Comfort. She also gained recognition for her portrayal of Mercy in the cult film The Warriors (1979) and Reva in the 2012 movie Road to Hell, earning her a Best Supporting Actress award at the PollyGrind Film Festival.
Prior to her acting career, she obtained a bachelor’s degree in art from New York’s Pratt Institute. Van Valkenburgh has also made guest appearances on popular television shows including Castle, Without a Trace, and ER. She was born and raised in Schenectady, New York.
