About Deborah Kaufmann
Deborah Kaufmann is a German TV actress born on March 23, 1970. She has appeared in recurring roles on popular television series such as Johanna, Dark, and KDD – Kriminaldauerdienst. Prior to her success on screen, Kaufmann established herself as a Shakespearean theater actress, with notable performances in The Merchant of Venice and Antony and Cleopatra.
Kaufmann attended the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts from 1986 to 1990. In addition to her TV and stage work, she has also contributed her voice to various German radio plays including Der Siebente Bruder and Die kleinen und Die Bosen.
She comes from an artistic family background; her mother is actress Angela Brunner and her father is writer Walter Kaufmann.
