Ayorinde made her television debut on the show Meet the Browns. She began acting at seven years old after being cast in a play at a drama school and has since trained in various performing arts disciplines.
She graduated from Howard University where she studied film production. Ayorinde also appeared in 10 episodes of the TV series Them.
She grew up with her sisters and her parents, who are originally from Nigeria.
