About Daniela Silivas
Daniela Silivas (born May 9, 1972) is a Romanian gymnast who rose to fame for her outstanding achievements in the sport.
She began her gymnastics journey at the age of 6 under the guidance of legendary coach Bela Karolyi. It was through dedication and hard work that she became a prominent figure in Olympic history.
Silivas made a lasting impression at the 1988 Seoul Olympics by clinching three gold medals in the uneven bars, balance beam, and floor exercise events. Her exceptional performance also earned her a total of six medals during the games.
Beyond her athletic career, Silivas has embraced family life and married Scott Harper in May 2003. Together, they have three children.
