D Smith is a singer, songwriter, and music producer born on July 20, 1975 in Miami, Florida. She made history as the first transgender woman to appear on Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta and has gained recognition for her work in the industry.
Her career took off after being brought to Atlanta by Ciara to contribute to the album Fantasy Ride. She later won a Grammy for her work on Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter III album.
In addition to her professional accomplishments, she appeared in the special Out in Hip Hop during season two of Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood. D Smith comes from Miami and continues to make an impact in the music world.
